Illinois State Collegiate Bowling

For over 30 years, the Illinois State University Collegiate Bowling Team has allowed ISU students to be a part of an outstanding tradition. Our program provides students an opportunity to be involved in collegiate bowling, and strive for College Bowling USA's Intercollegiate Bowling Championships. With a strong commitment and active teamwork you can be a part of this exciting venture.

Meeting/Practice: 8:30 p.m., Wednesdays at the Bowling & Billiards Center (during the fall and spring school semesters, only)

Membership Fees: tryout fee, annual club dues, and league fees required.

Team Tryouts - Fee $68.00 (Due September 10, 2011)

Tryouts for the Illinois State University Men’s & Women’s Collegiate Bowling Teams will be held on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11 at 9 a.m. Bowling will begin on Wednesday nights at 8:45 p.m. You must check in by 8:30 p.m. You will bowl a predetermined series of games.

The tryout fee is $68.00, which includes your bowling fees for the fall semester in the Redbird Classic League and is not refundable. After you have paid the tryout fee, you will be able to practice for 50¢ a game anytime until Wednesday, September 14.

Tryouts will include your league scores from the first week of Redbird Classic League and participation on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11. Teams will be selected based on performance, attitude, sportsmanship, experience, and the on-the-lanes behavior of all the tryout participants. The Men’s and Women’s Team will consist of 8-10 members each.
